Antinox® 2 mm Temporary Protection Board provides reliable, reusable protection for a wide range of surfaces during construction, refurbishment and maintenance projects. Manufactured from extruded polypropylene granules under ISO 9001 Quality Assurance and ISO 14001 Environmental Management, it combines durability, flexibility and ease of handling.

With a thickness of just 2 mm, the board achieves a crush resistance of 300 kN/m², making it suitable for pedestrian and light-duty site traffic. Independent pendulum slip tests (BS 7976-2) confirm a low slip risk with results of 72 (dry) and 49 (wet), ensuring safer working conditions.

The board is simple to install. It should be laid print-side up, cut neatly around obstacles with a sharp knife, and fixed securely in place as required. Substrates must be clean and free of grit before application. As with all impermeable protection, it is advised against covering new moisture-sensitive floors or underfloor heating systems, where a breathable alternative should be used instead.

Antinox® 2 mm sheets are available in flat sheet formats for versatile applications. Common uses include general floor protection, safeguarding door sets, curtain walling, and worktops. The lightweight nature of the board allows for easy handling, cutting and reuse, helping to reduce both installation time and material costs.

Sustainability is supported through a manufacturer return scheme for recycling used boards and the provision of indicative carbon footprint data for polypropylene production and processing. The product is CFC-free and designed for multiple reuse cycles, supporting waste reduction and environmental performance on site.
