EnviroMesh ESPS/M100 White is an alkali-resistant E-glass reinforcement mesh designed for ETIC systems and façade repairs. With high tear strength, non-slip handling and ETAG approval, it ensures durable crack resistance and surface stability. Supplied in 50 m² rolls, it’s ideal for reinforcing external wall insulation and repairing cracked plaster.
EnviroMesh ESPS/M100 White is a professional-grade reinforcement mesh engineered to provide reliable surface reinforcement in External Thermal Insulation Composite Systems (ETICs). Manufactured from alkali-resistant, plasticiser-free E-glass, the fabric offers superior tensile strength and dimensional stability, making it a trusted choice for installers and façade specialists.
The mesh is supplied in a standard 4 x 4 mm size with a basis weight of 165 g/m² (±5% to DIN EN 12127), ensuring robust performance across a wide range of applications. It is ETAG approved, highlighting compliance with European technical guidelines for use in façade systems.
One of the key advantages of this reinforcement mesh is its exceptional tear strength. In both warp and weft directions, the product achieves 2200 N/5 cm in delivery condition. Even after exposure to alkaline conditions, it retains at least 50% of its original strength, guaranteeing long-term durability in demanding building environments.
The fabric is particularly suited for embedding into reinforcement compounds during ETIC system installation. To achieve maximum stability, the mesh should be laid without creases or bubbles, in the upper third of the still-open reinforcement compound. At all overlaps, a minimum 10 cm joint must be maintained. For areas around windows, doors, and other structural openings, additional diagonal reinforcement with fabric arrows or lintel corner brackets is required to minimise stress concentrations and reduce crack formation.
In addition to new build applications, the mesh is also highly effective for refurbishment works. It can be applied in the rehabilitation of cracked plaster façades in accordance with WTA leaflet 2-4, Edition 08.2014/D, addressing both execution-related cracks and those arising from the underlying plaster base. This makes it a versatile solution for both preventive reinforcement and remedial works.
The mesh is supplied in rolls of 100 cm width and 50 m length, providing 50 m² of coverage per roll. Other dimensions are available on request, allowing flexibility for project-specific requirements.
Storage and handling are straightforward. Rolls should be stored upright in dry conditions, at temperatures between -10°C and +50°C, and protected from direct sunlight. Following these recommendations ensures consistent material performance during application.
As part of SPS Envirowall’s commitment to sustainability, the packaging components, including plastic tubs, lids, and metal wire handles, are fully recyclable through environmental recycling schemes. This supports responsible disposal and contributes to reduced environmental impact on construction sites.
In summary, EnviroMesh ESPS/M100 White offers installers a durable, ETAG-approved, alkali-resistant reinforcement mesh with excellent mechanical properties. Its ease of installation, crack-bridging capability, and suitability for both new builds and refurbishments make it a dependable choice for long-lasting façade reinforcement.
