10mm PVC Stop Bead x 2.5mtr WHITE

This stop bead is a rigid-PVC profile supplied with an attached E-glass reinforcement mesh for use within external thermal insulation composite systems (ETICS). It is intended to create a defined edge or termination for decorative and fine plaster layers. The bead supports accurate formation of plaster boundaries and integrates with reinforcement mesh during the basecoat stage.

The profile is produced from rigid PVC with hole perforations and incorporates ETAG-approved mesh with a 4x4mm mesh size. It is supplied in white and available in lengths of 200cm and 250cm.

Intended Use

The product is used for lateral delimitation of plaster finishes and fillers in façade systems. It enables a defined edge where render termination is required and is compatible with decorative and fine plasters applied within ETICS.

Base Preparation

The laying edge must be clean, dry, firm, load bearing, straight and free of separating substances. These conditions help ensure correct seating of the profile and adhesion of subsequent layers.

Processing

The stop bead is embedded into the filler or reinforcing compound so the surface fabric overlaps. When forming the reinforcement layer, the surface mesh must be guided up to the deduction edge. After the appropriate standing time, the finishing render can be applied.

Dimensions and Packaging

The bead provides a plaster thickness of 10mm and has an approximate width of 11cm. It is supplied in 200cm or 250cm lengths and packed 25 pieces per carton.

Storage

Cartons must be stored flat in dry rooms and protected from direct sunlight.
