Faithfull Tools Compound Aviation Tinsnips are hand-operated cutting tools for sheet materials. They are manufactured with formed, serrated blades in a satin finish and incorporate a double fulcrum compound cutting action to transfer force to the blades. The handles include slip guards, a safety locking latch and an opening spring. The tinsnips are intended for cutting up to 1.2 mm sheet steel, as well as non-ferrous materials, vinyls, plastics, and rubber. Suitable for cutting sheet steel and non-ferrous materials in fabrication and installation work.
Faithfull Compound Aviation Tinsnips are manual cutting tools for use on sheet and flexible materials.
They are manufactured with formed blades in a satin finish. The blades are serrated to reduce slippage of sheet metal during cutting.
Force is applied to the blades through a double fulcrum compound cutting mechanism. This mechanism transfers hand pressure through two pivot points to the cutting edges.
The handles incorporate slip guards to provide hand protection during use. A safety locking latch secures the blades in the closed position when not in operation. An opening spring assists blade return after each cut.
Cutting Capacity and Materials
The tinsnips are intended to cut up to1.2mm sheet steel.
They are also suitable for cutting non-ferrous materials, vinyls, plastic and rubber, within the stated capacity for sheet steel where applicable.
