Aluminium Retaining Bead (Item 1096) is a 2m pressed AlMgSi 0.5 F22 profile designed for use within M-system façade installations, typically with mineral wool insulation boards. It provides horizontal retention when used together with the Aluminium Connector (1092) and fixed through pre-formed holes at prescribed anchor centres. Suitable for securing consecutive layers of insulation within compatible façade systems.
The Aluminium Retaining Bead (Item 1096) is a façade system component manufactured from AlMgSi 0.5 F22 alloy in a pressed blank finish. The profile is 2,000mm long with a nominal material thickness of 1.7mm (+0.2/-0mm). It incorporates a 24mm-wide connecting bar and pre-drilled holes to enable mechanical fixing as part of an M-system façade build-up.
It is intended for use predominantly with mineral wool insulation panels and is installed horizontally to secure insulation layers.

Intended Application
