PVC Corner Bead With Mesh 10cm x 15cm x 2.5m

This PVC-mesh corner bead is intended for forming reinforced edges within ETICS installations. It can also be applied as an edge reinforcement during extensive façade repair work where cracked plaster requires stabilisation in line with WTA data sheet 2-4 (edition 08.2014/D). The product incorporates a rigid PVC angle with perforations and an E-glass mesh bonded using a hot-melt adhesive.

The product is alkali-resistant and plasticiser-free. The mesh is slip-resistant and has high tensile strength. The corner bead is available in multiple colours and supplied in 250cm lengths.

Application and Intended Use

The bead is used to reinforce external corners, edges, and reveals within ETICS build-ups. It is also suitable for stabilising cracked plaster surfaces on façades as defined in WTA guidance. When forming surface reinforcement, the surface mesh should continue up to the edge of the bead for a continuous reinforcing layer. Soffits may also be reinforced using this bead in a single operation by extending the mesh leg to the rear of the reveal. Where reveal beads are incorporated, the fabric legs must overlap by at least 10cm.

Base Preparation

The laying edge must be clean, dry, firm, load bearing, straight and free from separating substances before application.

Installation Guidance

Apply reinforcing compound across the full width of the required area. Insert the PVC-mesh corner bead vertically without creases or air pockets. Excess compound should be removed before continuing with the surface reinforcement. The product must be embedded fully in accordance with ETICS system owner guidelines and relevant standards.

Dimensions, Colours and Packaging

The corner bead has 10cm and 15cm fabric legs and a standard length of 250cm. Colours available include white, yellow and red, with other colours available upon request. Packaging consists of 100-piece or 50-piece cartons depending on colour selection.

Storage

Cartons must be stored flat in dry rooms and protected from direct sunlight.
