Overview
The Rawlplug SDS+ Rebardrill RT-SDSR-8-260 is a power tool accessory intended for use with SDS+ hammer drills weighing less than 5kg. Design and Construction
The drill bit incorporates a full carbide tip with three cutting edges and an integrated centring point. The tip is manufactured with a point angle of 135° ±2°. The carbide plate is deeply seated within the drill body to provide a secure mechanical connection between the tip and the steel core.
The flute geometry consists of a fully ground half-round flute. This design provides defined material extraction surfaces intended to assist with the removal of drilling dust during operation. The cylindrical form and axial alignment of the drill bit are intended to support straight hole drilling.

The drill body is manufactured from chromium steel 34CrNiMo6. The carbide tip is produced from WC-cobalt grade CTM17 BC. The stated hardness of the drill bit is 46–52HRC.
